A place for fanfic about awesome characters who weren't in canon (even if they really should have been!) or who hardly got a chance to shine. A safe place for characters who explore a niche the canon characters don't, see things afresh from an outsider's perspective, or give Frodo a break and take the ring to Mordor themselves.
The first person to call your character a Mary Sue gets banned. The second gets banned and shot.
If you know a community, ficathon, or website that supports writing about awesome women, feel free to share it with everyone else.
